The Guardian - Sherrilyn Kenyon Is it me or is this book a lot shorter and less plot than the rest of SK books? Somehow its too simple. I thought this book was thicker. Hmm...Kresley Cole held the uncontested place of an author who use her major villains as anti-hero. SK lost her style for this book. I like the egyptian pantheon storyline but I'd wish she could have expanded it. And despite the blood and unmentionables details of tortures, this book is tamer than usual. Bring me back the disemboweling man-eating demons. There's an apocalypse in the last book! Why no people dying here? why? And the Olympus Key is really too thinly written. But jeez, gimme blood and gore like you always do.
